PRAGA GEARS UP TO PARTICIPATE IN IMTEX - 2004

Praga will be participating in the IMTEX - 2004 in Association with HMT Ltd. A Large number of Machines will be on Display at the HMT Pavilion. Praga will display the CNC Surface Grinder in the exhibition. The Product is expected to draw a high degree of customer interest as it has been designed to provide "VALUE FOR MONEY ' to the customer.

CNC Surface Grinder Model 452 : Praga is allset to introduce first of its kind with latest state of art Fanuc / Siemens CNC controls. This is 3- axis controlled machine with 625 x 220 mm table capacity and is capable of complex profile dressing and also grinding.

Features :
This extremely modern Surface Grinder has been designed to satisfy the ever increasing needs which precision manufacturers especially die makers have for grinding all the faces of the parts they produce. Its sturdiness allows heavy - duty rough cuts and at the same time guarantees a high precision in finishing processes. Easier operation due to its ergonomically designed features, servo drive with encoder feed back on wheel head & saddle axes, and track encoder feed back for table axis . Menu driven, having graphic display numerics, prompts an error messages on screen. Simpler selection from screen presenting dressing and grinding cycles with additional software capabilities for creation of Macros. Forming and dressing from the table mounted diamond device using coordinated movement of wheel and saddle axes as optional feature.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS AND HAPPENINGS
Praga has Exported Rs.61 Lakhs worth of Machine Tools during this (03-04) financial year so far, recording an increase of 230% over previous year. Praga has secured an export order from KENYA for Lathe Chucks for the first time since inception.
