	Shri A V Kamat Chairman

Shri A.V. KAMAT is the Chairman of Praga Tools Ltd.. He is also the Chairman & Managing Director of our holding company HMT Limited.

Shri Kamat possesses a B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing.

Shri Kamat joined HMT in 1975 as an Engineer Trainee. He had a long stint in Machine Tool Marketing, working in various capacities in different regional & zonal offices before heading the Pune Regional Office & later Western Region.

Shri Kamat served as General Manager (Materials & Sub-contracts) and General Manager (Production) in Machine Tools Division, Bangalore, as well as General Manager (Marketing) in HMT Machine Tools Limited, before heading HMT Machine Tools Limited as the Managing Director.

In his vast experience of 30 years, Shri Kamat has served the company in various capacities and has gained vast amount of experience in marketing, manufacturing, business development and developing corporate strategies and business alliances. He has widely traveled and attended a number of advanced programs in marketing and management at various institutes of repute.

	Shri S K Kampasi Director(Finance), HMT Limited

Shri S.K. Kampasi is a director on the Board of Praga Tools Limited. Sri Kampasi is also the Director, Finance of holding company HMT Limited, Bangalore. Prior to his elevation to this post, Shri Kampasi was the Group General Manager, Finance at the Corporate Level in the Company.

Shri Kampasi is a Chartered Accountant with the distinction of being a Second Rank holder in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1977. He also holds a degree of B.Sc. apart from having qualified the Part-I examination in the Corporate Management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi in the year 1985.

Shri Kampasi joined HMT in 1977 as Accounts Officer. He has had a long stint in various Units / Subsidiary Companies in various capacities. He brings along over 32 years of experience in the HMT group of Companies such as HMT Machine Tools Limited, HMT Watches Ltd. Etc., in the various facets of Finance & Accounts, Audit, Operational and Strategic Planning, Group Financing & Corporate Management etc.

Shri Kampasi has been actively associated in the formulation of Revival Plans of HMT Machine Tools Limited, which has been recently approved by the Government of India with substantial capital infusion in the form of Preference / Equity Share Capital in the Company for modernization and up-gradation of the Plants and discharging of long term liabilities of the Company, which is currently under implementation.

Shri V. Hemachandra Babu has been appointed as Director on the Board of Praga Tools Limited. He is also the Managing Director of HMT Machine Tools Limited.

Joining HMT in 1977, Shri Hemachandra Babu held various key positions in the Company in the areas of Marketing, Planning, Production, Customer Service and Product Technology and has rich experience in Marketing, Product Management, Customer Services, Business Planning and Production. Widely traveled, Shri Hemachandra Babu possesses a Bachelor�s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and M.B.A in Marketing.
